You are the master of what you are. Habits enslave. You are a king, a queen, not a slave, when you rule your body and mind.

The Ill Health Habit:

Ask yourself, What is making me sick? Where is the cause? Keep quizzing yourself. How am I thinking? How am I living? How am I using time? What is my life objective? What daily plan and ideal have I? Break the ill health habit. Quit worrying and seek medical help if you need it! And if not, accept the gift of healthy living, thinking, playing, working, loving and creating. It's yours!

The Nervous Habit:

What started it? Take a search warrant and go through your past till you find the cause, then remove it. You do not need a tonic in the morning and a sedative at night. You need right thinking, joyful living, delightful objectives, and spiritual harmony. Your nerve-building vitality is within you, not at the drugstore. Make your nervous system a harmonic symphony of joy.

The Sleepless Habit:

Why do you not sleep? You know the cause. Cut it out. Stop saying you cannot. You can. Let go of the world when you lie down. Slack the tension. Darken your windows well. Allow fresh air to come in and do not have too many covers over you. Think of the funniest thing that happened in the day. Enjoy those moments of good humour and even joy, you will fall into restful sleep.

The Poverty Habit:

The riches of the world are open to you, right where you are. Create something that helps, cheers, and blesses others. Be useful. Get free of foolish notions of poverty. You do not need capital, you need an objective, a plan, a purpose. Money is not success in itself. Ceaseless, tireless, and joyful service is success.

The Failure Habit:

You were created, reared, and educated to win. What is causing you to fail? Go after the cause. Find it, root it out. Re-adjust your vision of life and you'll win. Find that hidden talent within yourself. Get busy. Put your wits, brains, and energies to work. Think, work, persevere. BELIEVE AND ACT.

The Temper Habit:

A hot one: quick, cruel and selfish. Why? Did it ever get you anything good? Are you a king, a queen, or a slave? Temper is a fine thing. Never let it go. Keep it. Train it. Discipline it. Make it sing and serve for you. Every day put it into service. Teach it to be glad, generous, hopeful, and free of suspicion. Bring it under control. It will become a brilliant part of your charming personality.

Enslaving Habits:

Why should you, a limitless being, allow a habit to enslave you? You have the power to be free. First begin to laugh at your habit, never fear it. Laugh at it fifty times a day as you would at an enemy who sought to harm you. To laugh will get rid of your fear-thoughts. Then just hate the thing and it will leave you. Mock your habit with derision and walk out of it free, EVEN THIS HOUR.
